Dear Our Readers,

The ULIS IN FOCUS is a composite electronic news publication featuring highlights of the University of Languages and International Studies – Vietnam National University, Hanoi (ULIS – VNU) on a quarterly basis.

The first quarter of 2025 has passed with many special activities at ULIS which can be mentioned as: Organizing the 20th Congress of the University Party Committee ; building communication and admission counseling plans for entrance exams at all educational levels ; completing the Project to open the major in Teaching Vietnamese as a Foreign Language ; successfully organizing the “ULIS International Spring Festival 2025” cultural event and the 2025 Job Fair.

In the upcoming second quarter of 2025, the University will implement many important tasks, including: Developing detailed plans to deploy support, service, and management activities for undergraduate and postgraduate learners ; continuing to effectively deploy the Scholar and Employer Connection Project (ULIS Hub) and the Foreign Language Education Support Channel for General Education (ULIS Connect) ; building the detailed outline for the University’s Project on Autonomy for regular expenditures to be applied from 2026 ; completing procedures and commencing the renovation of Building B3 and the installation of elevators in Building A2.
