Dear respectful partners,

First and foremost, we would like to extend our sincere greetings to all of you, home and overseas partners, who have accompanied the University of Languages and International Studies, Vietnam National University (ULIS – VNU) in all spheres for a long time up to now.

This second quarter of 2022 has gone by. Reflecting these 3 months, ULIS has successfully completed different tasks and organized numerous important events, including 21st Congress of ULIS Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union for the term 2022-2024; UNC 2022’s main day; ULIS Book Fair 2022; the football tournament “ULIS – Hello Summer 2022”; 10th anniversary of the Faculty of Korean Language and Culture, 28th year of teaching Korean language in Vietnam and 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Korea; ULIS Fiery Youth Festival in 2022; ULIS FIRE Day 5.0 in 2022; etc.

In the third quarter of 2022, the University has a number of important tasks which need to be performed well, such as organize undergraduate and graduate enrollment (2nd cohort) in 2022, ensure sufficient quantity and good quality; finalize the dossier and submit it to VNU for its approval of the project on opening the undergraduate training program “Transnational Culture and Communication”; complete the University’s quality accreditation (period 2021 – 2026), finalize the self-assessment reports of FLSS, Korean language, Chinese language, French language and Japanese language training programs; develop plans and implement science and technology activities under the framework of UNC 2023 in localities; complete the renovation of floors 4-8 of Block A2, review the teaching and learning equipment for the school year 2022-2023.
