Dear respectful partners,

First and foremost, we would like to extend our sincere greetings to all of you, home and overseas partners, who have accompanied the University of Languages and International Studies, Vietnam National University (ULIS – VNU) in all spheres for a long time up to now.

The 2022 summer has gone by the University of Languages and International Studies – Vietnam National University, Hanoi (ULIS – VNU). ULIS this summer was hectic with numerous prominent events such as: Commencement for more than 700 QH.2018 graduates; Opening ceremony for QH.2022 graduate first intake; CLC Day – MEET Gala 2022: 20th Anniversary of fast-track program of Faculty of English Language Teacher Education; Conference to review the foreign language teaching project in Ba Vi’s secondary schools in academic year 2021-2022; 60th anniversary of Faculty of French Language and Culture (1962-2022); 30th anniversary of teaching Japanese at ULIS-VNU (1992-2022).

This 2022-2023 academic year has started off with motivating activities from welcoming new Ulisers to organizing course opening ceremonies for all students. This 4th quarter, we will need to well implement and fulfill the following key tasks: finalize the self-assessment reports and prepare for the external assessments of 04 training programs (French, Japanese, Chinese and Korean languages); organize the IGRS 2022 Symposium for graduate students and organize conferences within the framework of UNC2023; review the three-year implementation of the Project on renovating teaching activities at ULIS-VNU (2019-2020; 2020-2021; 2021-2022) and implement training programs toward autonomous orientation; organize the mid-term review of the implementation of the Resolution of the Congress of the Party Committee of ULIS-VNU (2020-2025).
