On July 13^th – 17^th, 2022, ULIS-VNU welcomed and worked with the External Assessment Team from the Education Accreditation Center – Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City to officially survey and accredit the quality of educational institutions in the period 2021-2026 in compliance with Circular No. 12/2017/TT-BGDĐT.

On July 13^th, the opening ceremony of the program took place. At the ceremony, Mr. Bui Thi Nhu Hue – Professional secretary of the team read the Decision on forming the Assessment Team.

In his welcome speech, Vice President Lam Quang Dong said: “ULIS-VNU would like to welcome the assessment team to carry out the accreditation of educational institutions at the University. This is a very important event because it is the decisive step after more than a year of hard work for all ULIS teachers and students”.

Representing the external assessment team, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Ngoc Quynh Lam – Director of the Education Accreditation Center – Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City shared: “The Center would like to thank ULIS – VNU for trusting and choosing the Center as a companion with the University in the process of ensuring and accrediting the quality of education”.

The following part was a brief presentation about ULIS and the self-assessment process by Vice President Lam Quang Dong.

The official assessment took place in 5 working days and ended on July 17^th, 2022 with positive results.
