ULIS’s President Do Tuan Minh welcomed Ms. Diane Millar, Director of Regional English Language Office (RELO), U.S Embassy in Hanoi

On November 16th, 2016, Dr. Do Tuan Minh – President of ULIS – VNU welcomed and worked with Ms. Diane Millar – Director of RELO, US Embassy in Hanoi.
The meeting was also attended by Dr. Do Minh Hoang – Director of Cooperation and Development Office, M. A. Khoa Anh Viet – Director of Center for Information and Technology, Communication and Learning Resources, Dr. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Quynh – Director of Center for Language Testing and Assessment.

Ms. Diane Millar and Le Duong – RELO specialist in Hanoi have built up a close relationship with ULIS. Ms. Millar and her associates have supported English training at ULIS as well as in Vietnam for many years.
In the meeting, Mr. Minh extended his profound thanks to Ms Millar for her support over the last few years. Due to her great contribution to English training at ULIS, Mr. Minh hoped that she would continue to support the university in the time to come.
Ms. Millar also thanked ULIS for giving her a great welcome and affirmed that, as the Director of RELO, she would offer the most advantageous conditions to help ULIS. Currently, RELO cooperates with ULIS in some activities such as providing highly qualified English teachers and learning materials, etc.

After that, Ms Millar visited Center for Information and Technology, Communication and Learning Resources. She was quite satisfied with the center’s infrastructure as well as the ebullience of students during the class. Ms. Millar also presented the center with many high-quality specialized books about testing, linguistics and international studies, English teaching, culture, etc.
