On December 26^th, 2021, ULIS-VNU held a workshop under the theme “Usage of new English coursebooks for students in school education: application of politeness in intercultural communication in teaching English” to help teachers improve the awareness and ability to communicate effectively in English for high school students.

In his opening speech, President Do Tuan Minh said that the workshop had a very interesting topic and high practical significance and affirmed that the workshop would certainly bring useful knowledge to the participants.

At the workshop, 3 papers were presented.

Speaking to close the workshop, Vice President Lam Quang Dong hoped that the teachers had accumulated useful knowledge and methods to apply practically in their lecture.

The workshop attracted 538 registrations and 204 attendees.
