On March 14th, 2018, President Do Tuan Minh signed Announcement No. 208/TB – ĐHNN on offering scholarships and supporting training fees and publications for PhD student studying at the University of Languages and International Studies – Vietnam National University, Hanoi (ULIS -VNU).

With the purpose of encouraging and supporting graduates who study doctoral programs of ULIS, the president of ULIS – VNU affirmed to offer scholarships and the level of support for training fees and publications for PhD students, who passed graduate entrance exam as below:
1. For graduates who are civil servants and contractual staff of ULIS:

100% training fee and scholarship, equivalent to 30,000,000 VND will be provided to the students who complete the course and defend PhD thesis on time.

2. For graduates who are foreigners:

A scholarship worth 60,000,000 VND for postgraduates who completed the course and the defense of PhD thesis on time.

3. Reward of 16,000,000 VND/article for graduates whose articles were published on international scientific journals under ISI/Scopus database.
