Workshop “Art of Al-Qatt Al-Asiri”
On November 24th, 2023, ULIS – VNU successfully organized the Workshop “Art of Al-Qatt Al-Asiri” of Saudi Arabia.
At the event, Ms. Hilba Mostafa S. Mahros – Wife of the Ambassador of Saudi Arabia shared: “Al-Qatt Al-Asiri – the most unique art form in Asia, has been recognized as an intangible cultural heritage in December 2017 by UNESCO.”
At the workshop, students had the opportunity to experience the unique art of Al-Qatt Al-Asiri through drawing and coloring typical Al-Qatt motifs.
The event brought attendees interesting experiences about traditional art imbued with the aesthetics of Saudi Arabian women, thereby better understanding the cultural beauty and life of the people there.
