From December 18^th to 20^th, 2018, within the framework of accreditation activities under the criteria of the 128th ASEAN University Network (AUN – QA) for VNU’s Curriculum, ULIS welcomed and worked with the evaluation team on accreditation of the Bachelor’s Degree Program in the fast-track  English Language program – Translation and Interpretation.

During the working time, AUN’s team of auditors visited the facilities; collected information; worked with leaders of the University, faculties, and functional units; Interviewed lecturers, alumni, and employers; etc. According to preliminary information reported at the closing ceremony of the evaluation session, ULIS was highly appreciated both in terms of the quality of the curriculum as well as the support and organization activities. This is one of the rare times when there are 2 criteria, which are Teaching and Learning Methodology, and Learner assessment. The evaluation team said that “there is no need for improvement”. Other criteria were also considered very positive.

Previously, ULIS had 3 training programs that were assessed according to AUN-QA standard: the fast-track bachelor’s training program in English Language teacher Education, the Master’s program in English Language, and Master’s program in Theory & English Teaching Methods.
