On August 28^th, 2022, ULIS-VNU organized the 60^th anniversary of Faculty of French Language & Culture “Faculty of French Language & Culture – One language – Thousand Doors”. This was a special occasion for generations of students of ULIS in general and the Faculty of French Language & Culture in particular to come back and meet their friends and teachers.

Representing ULIS, President Do Tuan Minh delivered his opening speech which spoke highly of the achievements of the Faculty of French Language & Culture over the past years and affirmed the role of the Faculty to the society and national education.

At the ceremony, the Faculty of French Language & Culture was honored to receive the Certificate of Merit from The Prime Minister recognizing their achievements to the country’s development throughout its 60-year history.

Also on this occasion, Vietnam Education Trade Union awarded the Certificate of Merit to the Trade Union of the Faculty.

Dean of Faculty of French Language & Culture Dinh Hong Van shared his honor and pride to receive the Certificate of Merit of the Prime Minister, which is a recognition from the State leaders of the Faculty efforts over the past years.

Representing the distinguished guests, Ms. Tran Thi Mai Yen – Representative of OIF – Asia Pacific, Director of Asia Pacific French Center shared her honor to participate in this meaningful ceremony and affirmed to continue cooperating with ULIS and the Faculty in the future.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Nhung – an alumnus of the Faculty expressed her happiness to be back at ULIS. She also hoped that French language at ULIS would become more and more popular and develop over time to achieve more goals in the future.

The ceremony ended successfully, marking a huge milestone in the long-standing history of the Faculty of French Language & Culture.
