On August 14th, 2024, ULIS – VNU successfully held a briefing of August 2024, hosted by Dr. Nguyen Xuan Long – ULIS President.

The briefing was attended by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lam Quang Dong, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ha Le Kim Anh and Dr. Hoa Ngoc Son – ULIS Vice Presidents; Chairman of ULIS Trade Union; Directors of offices; Directors of centers; FLSS Principal; UMS Principal; Dean of the Faculty of Graduate Studies and Dean of the Faculty of Language Education and Professional Development.

At the meeting, President Nguyen Xuan Long spoke highly of the efforts of all departments in implementing their tasks in July. Meanwhile, he expected the departments to continue to fulfill the targets and tasks in August.

Activities of the University in the past month:

• Actively promoted enrollment at all levels;
• Organized the closing ceremony for the QH.2020 cohort;
• Implemented the ULIS annual faculty, staff and review conference of the 2023-2024 academic year.

Key tasks in August 2024:

• Organize International Forum: Teaching Vietnamese as a foreign language in Vietnam and abroad;
• Organize admission for students of QH.2024 cohort;
• Organize the Mid-Autumn Festival 2024.
