On March 16th, 2022, ULIS – VNU held a briefing on tasks of the first quarter in 2022. Dr. Do Tuan Minh, ULIS President chaired the briefing. The briefing was also attended by Chairman of the Trade Union, Secretary of the Youth Union, representatives of departments of the University.

At the briefing, Director of the Personnel Organization Office Duong Quynh Hoa, read the decision to reappoint Dr. Hoa Ngoc Son the position of Dean of the Faculty of Language Education & Professional Development, the decision to appoint Dr. Dao Thi Dieu Linh the position of Head of the Department of Educational Psychology.

At the briefing, the President presented special awards to outstanding individuals and collectives including students of the University in the past quarter.

On this occasion, the University announced the establishment of 11 communities of Practice.

Delivering his speech at the briefing, President Do Tuan Minh highly appreciated the efforts of all the departments in completing their tasks in the first quarter of 2022 with outstanding achievements.

Reports on the performance in the first quarter of 2022 and the plan for the second quarter of 2022 were delivered at the briefing.

Prominent results in the first quarter of 2022:

– Prepared the necessary conditions for outside assessment of the school’s quality accreditation for the 2021-2026 period; deployed phase 1 to develop self-assessment reports on quality accreditation of training programs in French, Japanese, Chinese, Korean and FLSS;

– Completed the adjustment and construction of economic-technical norms of university training programs; planned and implemented the enrollment counseling program at all levels;

– Celebrated the Lunar New Year.

Crucial tasks in the second quarter of 2022:

– Organize the UNC2022;

– Organize a national defense education course combined with physical education for students of QH2021;

– Organize the 3rd course in foreign language pedagogy.
