Conference on teaching and assessment of English subject of new general education curriculum in the direction of competency approach in post-Covid-19 context
On November 26th, 2022, at Hung Vuong University, Phu Tho province, ULIS-VNU collaborated with the National Foreign Language Project, the Ministry of Education and Training and Hung Vuong University organized a conference on teaching and assessing English of the new general education curriculum in the direction of a competency approach in the post-Covid-19 context. This is an opportunity for administrators and teachers to listen, exchange experiences in teaching, assessment English subject to meet the criteria of the new general education program.
Delivering his speech at the conference, President Do Tuan Minh hoped that through the conference, all participants would gain new knowledge and share experiences to further improve teaching and assessment effectiveness.
After that, the participants listened to 2 plenary session reports with topics related to English teaching and assessment.
After the plenary session, the participants were divided into 3 parallel subcommittees to discuss the teaching and assessment problems of English at elementary, middle and high schools. In the 3 subcommittees, 18 papers were presented.
At the end of the conference, President Do Tuan Minh awarded certificates to all the speakers at the 3 subcommittees.
