On October 27^th, 2019, ULIS -VNU held the closing ceremony of the Creative Thinking and Entrepreneurship course for fast-track students of QH.2018 cohort.

Creative Thinking and Entrepreneurship is a completely new course that has been taught since the 2019-2020 academic year. As part of the innovation of the University’s teaching curriculum, this is a course that integrates a lot of activities to develop necessary skills for students.

Delivering his speech at the event, President Do Tuan Minh hoped that all of the entrepreneurial ideas would continue to be nurtured, developed. “The University is committed to investing in potential development projects.” He added.

The event was divided into 2 parts. The first part was the presentations of different groups within an individual class. After all the presentations, the best group of each class attended a competition with groups of other classes. The second part was organized for 10 groups participating in a 5-minute presentation and 5-minutes Q&A session.

Throughout the event, all the groups presented a lot of potential startup ideas in addition to an engaging, professional presentation style.

The results of the competition:

First prize: Travel Love group

Second prize: W.E group

Third prize: E-learning group

Consolation prizes: Organic Tourguide group & Restaurant servers group

5 groups made it into the Top 10

Speaking after the award, Prof. Suzi Jarvis (University of Dublin – Ireland) expressed her admiration for the students’ desire for learning and entrepreneurial creativity.

The closing ceremony of the course ended with great success. Certainly students of the following cohorts will continue to experience this course and many more interesting courses.
