Dr. Tran Thanh Nhan – Faculty of English Language Teacher Education

1. Academic background

Dr. Tran Thanh Nhan started her teaching career as a lecturer of English for Specific Purposes in 2003. After earning her MA degree at the University of Languages and International Studies in 2007, she embarked on her PhD. study majoring in Education and Communication at the University of Newcastle upon Tyne, the United Kingdom in 2011. Upon returning to Vietnam in late 2015, she has been working as a lecturer at the Faculty of English Language Teacher Education majoring in lesson planning and Academic English. She is occasionally invited to deliver lectures on syllabus design and materials evaluation at the Faculty of Graduate Studies, ULIS and testing and evaluation in international M-TESOL programs in Hanoi University. Her work experience extended to being a part-time Head of English at KOTO Vocational Training Center and Academic Manager at Smartlink English Center.
