International Conference: “Teaching and learning Japanese in Vietnam from a multi-dimensional perspective”
On September 17th – 18th, 2022, ULIS-VNU held the International Conference: “Teaching and learning Japanese in Vietnam from a multi-dimensional perspective – Recruiting and ensuring the stability of foreign human resources in Japan and Asia”.
This is an important event within the framework of the 30th anniversary of teaching Japanese at ULIS-VNU (1992 – 2022) and also an activity within the framework of UNC 2023.
Delivering her speech at the opening ceremony, Vice President Ha Le Kim Anh affirmed that Vietnam was an attractive market for many enterprises in Japan to recruit workers. She hoped the conference would provide a lot of useful information and was an opportunity for scientists to openly exchange with one another, thereby creating a strong network of research connection and cooperation in the future.
On behalf of the organizing partner, Mr. Nishigori Jirou – President of the Association for Research on Human Resource Transformation in Asia/ Emeritus Professor of Tokyo Metropolitan University highly appreciated ULIS preparation for the conference. He also said that Japanese enterprises, which recruit Vietnamese people, needed to promote many exchange activities with Vietnamese people in particular and foreigners in general.
At the conference, many relevant and useful topics were presented in the discussion sessions, which were divided into 31 research reports in 06 panels. Accordingly, educators, experts, training organizations, researchers and enterprises could discuss specific and practical issues.
The international conference “Teaching and learning Japanese in Vietnam from a multi-dimensional perspective – Recruiting and ensuring the stability of foreign human resources in Japan and Asia” ended successfully with many positive results.
