On August 30^th, 2022, ULIS-VNU held a ceremony to sign cooperation agreements between the University with HANCOM Group and YES Group (Korea) and receive funding from these partners.

At the ceremony, representatives of the parties signed 3 official memoranda of understanding, including an MOU between ULIS and HANCOM on HANCOM Group’s sponsorship of equipment used to develop the project on organizing K-IBT and establishing a K-IBT Center, an MOU between ULIS and HANCOM on the implementation of K-IBT examination and an MOU between ULIS and YES Group on fostering scholarships for students.

Speaking at the ceremony, representatives of the three institutions expressed their expectations for the cooperation program, as well as their desire to further diversify cooperation activities to strengthen the Korean language training and research capacity.

Speaking highly of the implementation efforts and commitment of HANCOM group and YES group, President Do Tuan Minh confirmed that ULIS had established a working group to develop a joint project to organize the Korean language proficiency test (K- IBT) at ULIS. The President also invited the senior leaders of the two corporations to visit and work at ULIS.
