On August 15th, 2022, ULIS-VNU cooperated with Ba Vi District People’s Committee to organize a conference to review the project on supporting foreign language teaching and learning at secondary schools in Ba Vi district in academic year 2021-2022.

To begin the meeting, Ms. Phung Ngoc Oanh, the Director of Ba Vi District Education & Training Department reported the project results in the school year 2021-2022 and plans in the school year 2022-2023.

After taking a brief look at the progress of the project in 2021-2022, the conference discussed and offered suggestions for the time to come.

At the conference, Vice President Nguyen Xuan Long expressed his pride when witnessing the changes and progress that everyone made. He affirmed that ULIS would continue to accompany and support the district in the future.

Mr. Do Manh Hung, Deputy Secretary of Party Committee and Chairman of People’s Committee of Ba Vi District, spoke with high regards of the values that the cooperation project between ULIS-VNU and Ba Vi District People’s Committee brought to the community, to the cause of education in general and foreign language education in particular in Ba Vi District and believed that the Project would continue to develop and obtain more positive results.

At the conference, the Director of Ba Vi District Education & Training Department and Ba Vi District People’s Committee announced the decision to award groups and individuals with outstanding achievements in implementing the project in the school year 2021-2022.

The conference closed and ushered in a new chapter in cooperation activities between the two institutions.
