On December 10^th, 2020, ULIS-VNU in cooperation with the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Vietnam organized the “Quiz on Korea 2020” for Vietnamese students.

The event was attended by Vice President Lam Quang Dong, representatives of diplomatic agencies, partners, representatives of the university’s departments, management board and lecturers of Faculty of Korean Language & Culture.

This year’s event witnessed the participation of 27 students from different institutions across the country.

Delivering his speech at the event, Vice President Lam Quang Dong emphasized the significance of this event and the prospect of developing Korean language training in Vietnam.

The “Quiz on Korea” contest was a great playground for students, especially those who wish to learn about Korean language and culture. It is launched by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea and the KBS (the national television of South Korea).

Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Diem, a student of ULIS Faculty of Korean Language & Culture successfully won the First Prize in the contest.
