Scholarship Award Ceremony for Students whose families were affected by historic floods
On November 3rd, 2020, ULIS – VNU organized a scholarship award ceremony for students whose families were affected by floods. Also, represetatives of Toto Company, 2020 presented scholarships to students of the Faculty of Japanese Language and Culture.
In total, 22 students received scholarships from the Green Dream Scholarship Fund for students whose families were affected by the floods and 6 students from the Faculty of Japanese Language and Culture received Scholarship of the Toto Company.
On behalf of Toto Company, Vietnam, Mr. Suzuki Hiroyuki – General Director hoped that with the scholarship received today, students would make more efforts to have more achievements and success in the future, thereby contributing to the country’s development as well as becoming a “bridge” to strengthen the good relationship between Vietnam and Japan.
Delivering his speech at the ceremony, President Do Tuan Minh affirmed that all thoughts of staff, lecturers and students of the University were always with the people in Central Vietnam during the difficult time. The President also expressed his gratitude to Toto company for presenting scholarships to students and hoped the company would continue its support to students in many other aspects such as internship and job opportunities.
