On March 31^st, 2023, the Community of Practice on Economics in collaboration with the International Joint Program in Economics and Finance held the seminar “Insurance and life”. This is also a practical activity of the subject “Insurance and Risk” for third-year students.

Delivering his speech, Dr. Hoa Ngoc Son, Dean of Faculty of Language Education and Professional Development hoped that this seminar would provide useful knowledge about insurance and help students understand the role of insurance so that they could know how to apply it to their life.

During the seminar, three speakers shared about life and non-life insurance, introduced specific insurance products in the two insurance fields, which are suitable for businesses or individuals; models of insurance company-credit institution linkages; meaning of the risk management of insurance; and how to protect the insured against unfortunate events in life.

At the same time, the speakers advised job opportunities for students with passion and desire to have a try at the insurance industry. This is an industry with a lot of potentials, promising great growth in the future.
