Seminar on “Orientations for development of international studies at ULIS, VNU”
On May 25th, 2021, ULIS-VNU held a seminar to discuss the topic “Orientations for the development of international studies at ULIS, VNU”.
The seminar is part of the University’s development plan for the period 2021-2025, with a view to creating a forum for its staff and lecturers to meet and discuss the teaching and research of international studies in the current period.
Delivering her speech at the seminar, Vice President Ha Le Kim Anh said that the seminar was organized to meet the developing needs in training, research and student support of the University. The seminar is the first step in tightening inter-faculty connections in international studies as well as other fields.
At the seminar Dr. Phung Ha Thanh, Head of the Inter-faculty Group on International Studies shared about current activities of the group and suggested its plans in the future.
Dr. Nguyen Thi Minh Tam, Dean of the Faculty of Linguistics and Culture of English-Speaking Countries presented the plan to open the Transnational Culture and Communication Training Program, one of the new modules that the University is designing.
Also, at the seminar, the participants were provided with 3 reports in related fields.
The seminar “Orientations for the development of international studies at ULIS – VNU” was attended by more than 80 lecturers and staff.
