Sharing Online Learning Materials for Foreign Language Teachers
On August 23rd, 2024, ULIS-VNU in collaboration with the Management Board of the National Foreign Language Project, organized a program to share online module learning materials to improve the capacity of foreign language teachers. The program aimed to introduce online learning materials to improve foreign language and pedagogical skills, contributing to improving the quality of teaching in Vietnam, “gradually making English the second language in schools”.
In his opening remarks, President Nguyen Xuan Long spoke highly of the importance of applying information technology in teaching and the necessity of sharing experiences in using online learning materials.
Following the program, Ms. Nguyen Thi Mai Huu – Head of the National Foreign Language Project Management Board emphasized the role and importance of improving pedagogical capacity for foreign language teachers.
After that, the representative of the National Institute of Vocational Education and Training reported on the courses of the National Institute of Vocational Education and Training Management Board. Accordingly, the Project has about 6,000 learning materials and 18 courses ready to be transferred to units that register.
The program continued with a lively exchange between delegates and experts.
