On April 14^th, 2021, ULIS – VNU and the Faculty of French Language and Culture had the honor to welcome Professor Jean-Marc LAVEST – Director of the Francophone University Organization (AUF) in the Asia-Pacific region.

At the meeting, Vice President Lam Quang Dong extended his warm greetings and thanks to the Director of AUF in the Asia-Pacific region for taking the time to visit the university.

Speaking at the meeting, Prof. Jean-Marc LAVEST affirmed that the Foundation would give priority and attention to scientific research activities and support students of universities, in which ULIS – VNU would always play a very important role.

After the meeting with the University’s management board, Prof. Jean-Marc LAVEST had a meeting and exchange with students of the Faculty of French Language and Culture. In the session, he clarified the importance of mastering foreign languages in general and French in particular.

During the exchange session, the students expressed their interest in many issues directly related to the youth such as scholarships and job opportunities in relation to French language.
