On September 14th, 2019 at the Octagon Pavilion in central Hanoi, the sixth Russian Melody in the Heart of Hanoi was organized by the Faculty of Russian Language and Culture (FRLC) in collaboration with the Global Russian Reading Room under the International School, VNU. 

The activity is a “bridge” spanning generations of FRLC’s teachers and students and offering a healthy playground to bring Russian culture closer to Hanoi people and creating opportunities for those who do not teach and learn Russian to get closer to Russian language & culture.

In addition to some special performances delivered by familiar faces such as Kris dance group, Bang Lang Tim club, Bao band music group and others, this program was also taken part by fresh performances from students of the Faculty of Russian Language & Culture.

Expressing her feelings when participating in the event, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoai Nhan – former lecturer of the Faculty said:” I was very touched, proud and inspired to participate in the event this time. This is the 6th time I have participated in such event but the emotions still remain in tact.

After enjoying the performances, Mr. Cosmin (Romania) excitedly shared: “It has been a long time since I went to Hoan Kiem Lake to enjoy performing arts, and this time I am completely captivated with the performances. I feel like a sky of memories poured into my mind.”
