Dear respectful partners,

First and foremost, we would like to extend our sincere greetings to all of you, home and overseas partners, who have accompanied the University of Languages and International Studies, Vietnam National University (ULIS – VNU) in all spheres for a long time up to now.

This second quarter of 2021 has gone by. Reflecting these 3 months, ULIS has successfully completed different tasks and organized numerous important events, including effective deployment of student recruitment communication and advisory activities of the University; successful organization of many major events, such as National scientific conference UNC2021: “Researching and teaching foreign languages, linguistics and international studies in Vietnam”, ULIS 2021 Junior Ambassador Day, Commencement for QH.2017 students of international partnership program, ULIS Connection Festival 2021, etc.

The successful organization of these events is a sign of a promising year for ULIS. In the third quarter of 2021, the University has a number of important tasks which need to be performed well, such as prepare and organize Annual ULIS faculty, staff and 2020-2021 Academic Year Summarization Conference; organize the enrollment work at all levels; complete the school self-assessment report for the 2021-2026 period and prepare to welcome the external assessment team; continue to renovate, repair and upgrade facilities to prepare for the new academic year.

On behalf of the Editorial Board, we wish all teachers, students and partners good health and an enjoyable time with excitement and fun at ULIS.
