On the morning of January 27, 2026, at the headquarters of the Hanoi Party Committee, more than 50 students from the University of Languages and International Studies, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (ULIS – VNU) successfully fulfilled their duties in welcoming the High-Level Delegation of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party during its visit and working session with the Party Committee and Government of Hanoi.

Notably, Hoàng Hà Linh, a student of cohort QH.2025 from the Faculty of English Language and Culture and the top entrance exam scorer of ULIS – VNU, was honored to represent the youth of the capital in presenting flowers to Comrade Thongloun Sisoulith, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party and President of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic.

This was a great honor and source of pride for the youth of ULIS–VNU to take part in an important event of the City, contributing to showcasing the image of ULIS students as dynamic, professional, culturally rich, and internationally minded to friends around the world. Participation in welcoming the High-Level Delegation of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party not only demonstrated the trust placed by the City of Hanoi in ULIS youth, but also provided a valuable opportunity for students to contribute to people-to-people diplomacy, helping to nurture the traditional friendship, special solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos.

The event once again affirmed the role, responsibility, and confidence of the young generation of the University of Languages and International Studies – VNU in accompanying major political and diplomatic activities of the country and the Capital City of Hanoi.
