ULIS supports Vietnamese language program at Paul-Valéry Montpellier III University (France)
On October 10th, 2019, at Paul-Valéry Montpellier University (France), the opening ceremony of the program “Vietnamese History, Culture and Language” was held.
This is a new highlight in the cooperation between Paul-Valéry Montpellier University III and ULIS – VNU. Accordingly, ULIS will coordinate and support the Vietnamese language program at Paul-Valéry Montpellier University III in teaching Vietnamese, exchanging lecturers and students, etc.
Currently, about 20 French students have enrolled in the first course of “Vietnamese History, Culture and Language”. The entire duration of the course is one year. However, it is expected to be extended to two years. In the second year, French students will have the opportunity to learn and do internship in Vietnam to achieve the highest training outcome.
The ceremony lasted for more than 3 hours with 3 main parts: introducing the curriculum, seminar on Vietnam and Vietnamese cultural art performances.
Additionally, an exhibition of Vietnam’s Sea and Islands was in place, where the Vietnam Cultural Center in France displayed a lot of beautiful images and documents about tourism in Vietnam.
