On August 11^th – 12^th, 2024, ULIS – VNU held a training course to foster and train Japanese teachers through active teaching and learning. The program was organized by the Faculty of Japanese Language and Culture under the sponsorship of the Japan International Exchange Foundation. Implemented from 2022, this 6th training course has attracted about 120 Japanese teachers at domestic and foreign universities to participate.

Delivering his speech at the opening ceremony, Chairman of ULIS Council Do Tuan Minh extended his words of encouragement to all students participating in the training course. At the same time, Dr. Do Tuan Minh also introduced the National General Foreign Language Education Support Channel of VNU (English name: ULIS CONNECT) with many activities to support and train foreign language teachers nationwide, which has been actively implemented by the ULIS.

The course was spoke highly of its practicality and meaning, contributing to bringing Vietnamese Japanese education further in the future and ushering in opportunities for exchange and learning for a large number of teachers and lecturers teaching Japanese at training units across the country.
