2018 Summer Camp program was held for Shenzhen University students
From July 14th-19th, 2018, University of Languages and International Studies – Vietnam National University, Hanoi (ULIS – VNU) cooperated with Global Education Service Vietnam (GES Vietnam) to hold the Summer Camp program 2018 for students of Shenzhen University (China).
The ceremony was attended by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lam Quang Dong – ULIS’s Vice President, Ms. Do Thi Bich Lien – representative of GES Vietnam, Dr.Hoa Ngoc Son – Dean of the Faculty of Language Education & Professional Development, voluntary students and especially teachers in charge and 27 students of Shenzhen University.
Addressing at the ceremony, Vice President Dong extended his warm welcome to foreign staff and students coming to ULIS to join the program. He hoped that the students would have more experience and understanding about Vietnamese culture and people, thereby contributing to the promoted friendship between Vietnam and China.
On behalf of GES Vietnam, Ms. Lien also expressed her special thanks to ULIS for its collaboration in organizing the program. Additionally, she believed that this would be one of the most meaningful and interesting experiences in Chinese young students’ lives.
With the topic “Summer 2018 Vietnam Research and Exchange Mission” and great participation from volunteers, foreign students will have numerous opportunities to expose themselves to the diverse Vietnamese culture and customs through practical activities, outdoor games, etc. After completing the program, participation certificates will be conferred to all Shenzhen University students who have joined this summer camp at ULIS.
Shenzhen University is a public university in Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province, China. The school was founded in 1983 by the State Council of China and Shenzhen Government. Shenzhen University is a multi-disciplinary college with 42 undergraduate programs and 69 postgraduate programs (66 graduate programs and 3 doctoral programs). The total number of students is 30000, including 5000 postgraduates and 26,000 undergraduates.
