On August 4^th, 2020, ULIS- VNU in coordination with the People’s Police University of Technology and Logistics held the closing ceremony of the 1^st and opening ceremony of the 2^nd self-defense martial arts training course for ULIS staff.

The purpose of the course is to train martial arts skills for school staff, thereby improving security in the campus and ensuring more safety for staff members, lecturers, students.

29 staff members from different departments participated in the 1^st course and 31 staff members participated in the 2^nd one.

Delivering his speech at the ceremony, President Do Tuan Minh extended his thanks to the People’s Public University of Technology and Logistics, especially the two trainers.

On behalf of the People’s Public University of Technology and Logistics, Senior Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Canh Toan Nguyen Canh Toan expressed his honor and pride as well as spoke highly of the course held at the University.

At the ceremony, the first batch of trainees showcased the skills learned from the 1^st course to audience.

After that, the event continued with the opening ceremony of 2^nd training course with the participation of President Do Tuan Minh, Vice President Nguyen Xuan Long, Vice President Ha Le Kim Anh, heads and staff of several departments and 2 foreign experts.

The course is scheduled to last for 20 sessions.
