Connecting innovation and entrepreneurship in universities
On May 12th, 2022, ULIS-VNU held a conference “Connecting innovation and entrepreneurship in universities”.
The conference aims to create an opportunity for experts, lecturers, organizations and businesses to share and exchange about innovation and entrepreneurship activities in universities. The program is within the framework of the task “Intensive capacity building for some subjects in the ecosystem” chaired by ULIS-VNU, under the Project “Supporting the national innovation startup ecosystem by 2025” (Project 844).
Delivering her speech at the opening ceremony, Vice President Ha Le Kim Anh said that this was an important event of the University and also expected the event to create valuable results that would spread in the near future.
In his speech, Dr. Vu Tuan Anh – Deputy Director of Science and Technology Department, VNU, acknowledged the efforts of ULIS in building a mentoring network for the VNU’s innovation and entrepreneurship activities.
At the conference, the organizers presented certificates to trainees who completed the capacity building training course under Project 844.
The program was followed by a useful forum for experts, lecturers, organizations, businesses and students to talk and discuss about innovation and entrepreneurship activities in universities.
One of the important activities of the program is the mentoring between experts and students. 20 groups of students selected to join the “Promoting the Innovation and Startup Spirit” competition discussed with experts to prepare for the upcoming competition.
