On September 16th, 2019, ULIS-VNU organized a study tour for students of Saga University, Japan in 2019.

The ceremony was attended by Vice President Ngo Minh Thuy; leaders and staff of the Faculty of Language Education & Teacher Development, representatives of other departments, lecturers, volunteer students and 7 students of Saga University.

Delivering her speech at the ceremony, Vice President Ngo Minh Thuy affirmed that the ULIS highly rates the great importance to the 10-year cooperation relationship with Saga University. Since 2007, the two sides have had many cooperative activities in training, research, student exchange and so forth.

Mr. Hoa Ngoc Son, Dean of the Faculty of Language Education & Teacher Development expressed his pleasure to meet the first 7 “Ambassadors” of the study tour for students of Saga University. He hoped that the students would have 2 weeks of exciting experiences at ULIS, creating an opportunity to introduce the program to Japanese students.

The “Discover Vietnam” program this time will last for 2 weeks, including many interesting activities such as learning Vietnamese and learning Vietnamese culture, participating in extracurricular activities inside and outside campus, experiencing traditional folk games and discovering Vietnamese cuisine and so forth.
