Training teachers to teach B1 English module on LMS system
On August 13th, 2024, ULIS – VNU held a teacher training session on the B1 English module on the LMS system. The module will be taught in a combined format and is expected to be applied throughout VNU.
The B1 English module on the LMS system was jointly developed by ULIS and the Institute of Quality Assurance – VNU. This is a project that has been planned and tested, taking survey from users’ experiences.
Delivering her opening speech, Vice President Ha Le Kim Anh said that the construction of the B1 English module on the LMS system had been actively implemented over the past year. ULIS-VNU has collaborated closely with the Institute of Quality Assurance to develop a new online learning segment carrying the important mission of VNU in improving digitality in foreign language training.
Mr. Nghiem Xuan Huy – Director of the Institute of Quality Assurance – VNU gave a detailed presentation on using the LMS system to teach B1 English module.
On behalf of the Professional Committee, Ms. Lam Thi Hoa Binh – Vice Dean of the Faculty of English along with Ms. Vu Bich Dao and Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Hanh shared about the curriculum content, how to evaluate component scores and content of the exams.
After that, the discussion and Q&A session took place enthusiastically.
