On August 18^th, 2024, within the framework of the activities of the ULIS CONNECT, ULIS – VNU organized a seminar with the topic “Effective teaching: Optimizing warm-up activities in foreign language classrooms”.

In his opening speech, Chairman of ULIS Council Do Tuan Minh believed that the program could provide a lot of useful knowledge to help teachers optimize warm-up activities in the foreign language classroom and create an effective lesson results and quality.

The speakers of the workshop were Ms. Pham Minh Hue – Head of UMS English Division and Ms. Nguyen Doan Trang – UMS English Teacher.

In the warm-up session, delegates were introduced and explained the importance of the “warm-up” activity in creating excitement, stimulating thinking and preparing students mentally before starting the lesson.

In the main part of the program, speakers provided information and shared about appropriate types of warm-up activities. At the same time, the two speakers also provided tools and resources for the delegates.
