Dear respectful partners,

First and foremost, we would like to extend our sincere greetings to all of you, home and overseas partners, who have accompanied the University of Languages and International Studies, Vietnam National University (ULIS – VNU) in all spheres for a long time up to now.

This first quarter of 2024 has gone by. Reflecting these 3 months, ULIS has successfully completed different tasks and organized numerous important events, including piloted implementation of teaching 11 undergraduate and graduate courses in the blended mode; developed communication and counselling plans for student admission and entrance exams at all levels; prepared for the quality accreditation of UMS; Organized pre-UNC2024 events and made detailed plans for UNC2024; adjusted the Plan to increase investment in developing potential and encouraging science and technology activities at ULIS; etc.

The successful organization of these events is a sign of a promising year for ULIS. In the second quarter of 2024, the University has a number of important tasks which need to be performed well, such as to strengthen communications for successful enrollment of sufficient students with good quality at all levels; to successfully organize UNC2024 (On April 20th, 2024); FIRE DAY and 2024 Start-up Fire Ideas competition; to conduct quality accreditation of UMS; complete a draft self-assessment report on the Master’s training program in English Theory and Teaching Methods; effectively organize a pilot assessment of the Digital Competency Framework for 3 target groups at ULIS; etc.

This bulletin will provide you with a summary of ULIS activities that you are interested in. With its eye-catching design and diverse contents, we hope you will find it helpful and continue to collaborate side by side with ULIS in the upcoming time.
