On January 10^th to 12^th, 2020, in Nam Chay town, Muong Khuong district, Lao Cai province, ULIS – VNU in collaboration with Military Science Academy (Ministry of Defense), The Editorial Department of the Communist Review, Vietnam National Drama Theater, Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV), General Hospital and the Border Guard of Lao Cai province organized a volunteer program named “Spring in the Border Area 2020”.

During the event, all units offered medical examination and treatment to more than 200 people, presented more than 200 gifts to beneficiaries of special policies and talented yet cash-trapped students in Nam Chay town. At the same time, the primary and junior high schools in the province were also given gifts such as computers, warm blankets and water heaters, so as to contribute supports to teaching, caring and educating students in the area.

Hopefully, these small gifts will be a piece of encouragement for the children, elderly, beneficiaries of special policies and teachers in the commune to strive to overcome difficulties and enjoy a warmer Tet Holiday.
