ULIS participates in National Conference “teaching English in schools in difficult areas in Vietnam”
On December 15th-16th, 2022, the delegation of ULIS – VNU, led by Vice President Ha Le Kim Anh attended the National Conference “Teaching English in schools in difficult areas in Vietnam” in Lao Cai.
On the first day of the Conference, at the plenary session, the delegates listened to 08 presentations from universities and research experts.
On the 2nd day, the delegation led by Vice President Ha Le Kim Anh visited and worked with Trinh Tuong Ethnic Minority School, Bat Xat district, Lao Cai province.
The conference was an opportunity for delegates to discuss solutions to improve the quality and solve problems in teaching English in difficult, remote, mountainous, and island areas across the country. At the same time, the Ministry of Education and Training proposed mechanisms, policies and guidelines for the implementation of English teaching and learning in schools in disadvantaged areas across the country.
