On November 26^th, 2022, ULIS-VNU and Hosei University (Japan) coordinated to organize the final of the Hosei Cup Japanese Speech Contest in 2022 under the theme “The world today and my contribution” This is an annual contest organized by two cooperative schools.

In the context of the complicated Covid-19 pandemic in the world, the 2022 Hosei Cup Japanese Speech Contest still took place as scheduled and attracted nearly 300 Japanese language learners nationwide. After the qualifying round, 19 contestants entered the final round, including 6 high school students and 13 university students.

This year, the final round was held online via Zoom and onsite at ULIS.

At the final, many outstanding contestants secured valuable prizes. The contestants who won the first prize, second prize in the university group and the first prize in the high school group at the final round will be able to participate in a tour in Japan. All candidates who passed the essay qualifying round also received a certificate of participation in the contest along with attractive and valuable gifts from Hosei University, Japan.
