ULIS annual faculty, staff and review conference of the 2021-2022 academic year

On June 28th-30th, 2022, the University of Languages and International Studies – Vietnam National University, Hanoi (ULIS – VNU) held the ULIS annual faculty, staff and review conference of the 2021-2022 academic year in Ha Long, Quang Ninh.

The conference was attended by the Gorvening Board and more than 130 representatives from all units within the University. 

At the conference, President Do Tuan Minh presented reports on the university’s implementation of the Conference’s Resolution, tasks in 2021-2022 and plan for 2022-2023.

Mr. Nguyen Van Doan then presented the outcomes of Conference of Public Officials and Civil Servants in sub-units and collected comments and feedback. He also presented the report summarizing the activities of the People’s Inspectorate of the year.

Also at the conference, 5 members of the People’s Inspectorate were selected.

The conference was also reported on budget management and welfare. Ms. Le Thi Khanh Trang, Director of Finance and Planning Office presented specific data and finance and planning activities in 2021-2022 and the 2022-2023 plan. 

At the conference, Deputy Director of the Personnel Organization Office Cu Thanh Nghi, read the decision to appoint Mr. Trinh Hai Tuan the position of Director of the Center for Information Technology, Communication and Learning Resources.

The conference program also included an awarding ceremony and other activities.

Delivering his speech at the conference, VNU Vice President Nguyen Hoang Hai highly appreciated the innovative spirit of ULIS, and that spirit was vividly demonstrated at this conference. In general, the University has created an environment for staff, students to shine and show their abilities. In the academic year 2021-2022, ULIS was active in implementing the task of innovation and digital transformation, contributing to the overall development of VNU. He also suggested that the University with its mission and strengths continue to focus on activities on building the school site’s plan in Hoa Lac, increasing research capacity and internationalization, etc.
