On May 18th, 2023, ULIS – VNU successfully held a briefing of May 2023, hosted by Dr. Nguyen Xuan Long – ULIS Vice President.

The briefing was attended by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lam Quang Dong, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ha Le Kim Anh and Dr. Nguyen Xuan Long – ULIS Vice Presidents; Chairman of ULIS Trade Union; Directors of offices; Directors of centers; FLSS Principal; UMS Principal; Dean of the Faculty of Graduate Studies and Dean of the Faculty of Language Education and Professional Development.

At the briefing, Director of the Personnel Organization Office Duong Quynh Hoa, read the decision to appoint Mr. Tran Huu Tri the position of Head of the Department of Vietnamese Language and Culture, the decision to appoint Mr. Nguyen Tien Dung the position of Deputy director of the Center for Information Technology, Comunication & Learning Resources, and the decision to appoint Mr. Nguyen Trong Tuyen the position of Deputy director of the Assets Management & Security Office.

Also at the briefing, the Vice President presented special awards to outstanding individuals and collectives in the past month.

At the meeting, Vice President Nguyen Xuan Long highly appreciated the efforts of all departments in implementing their tasks in April. Meanwhile, he expected the departments to continue to fulfill the targets and tasks in May.

Activities of the University in the past month:

• Organized ULIS Connection Day for QH2022 students in Hoa Lac;
• Organized UNC2023 Main Day;
• Organized ULIS Book Fair 2023.

Key tasks in May 2023:

• To organize enrollment of UMS and FLSS;
• To organize ULIS Fire Day 6.0;
• To actively carry out communication tasks for university admissions, etc.
