At the beginning of the briefing, President Do Tuan Minh appreciated the contributions and admirable work as an expert on Japan, its language and culture of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ngo Minh Thuy – Vice President of the University.

Vice President Ngo Minh Thuy thought that every activity she had participated in was to promote the beautiful image of Vietnam and its people as well as the beautiful image of ULIS – VNU to international friends.

After that, Director of the Personnel Organization Office Duong Quynh Hoa, read the decision to reappoint Ms. Hoang Thi Hanh the position of Vice Dean of the Faculty of Linguistics and Culture of English – Speaking countries.

At the meeting, President Do Tuan Minh highly appreciated the efforts of all departments in implementing their tasks in September. Meanwhile, he expected the departments to continue to fulfill the targets and tasks in October.

Activities of the University in the past month:

• Implementation of training and self-training plans for ULIS staff;
• Implementation of the plan on second-round staff assessment;
• Implementation of training on Quality Assurance in 2019 for ULIS staff;
• Management on foreign students;
• Support on the one-stop administrative work for students.

Key tasks in October 2019:

Successful organization of Congresses of Party’s Cells for the 2020-2022 tenure; 2 international conferences; the 50th anniversary of the establishment of FLSS, etc.
