Opening Ceremony of the Second Degree Part-time English Language Program (Course QH.2026.F.2.E) at the Military University of Culture and Arts No.1

On May 6, 2026, at the Hall A of The Army officer College No1 (TQT Uni), the opening ceremony for the Second Degree Part-time English Language Program (Course QH.2026.F.2.E) was held. The program was jointly organized by the University of Languages and International Studies, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (ULIS-VNU) and The Army Officer College No1 (TQT Uni).

Attending the ceremony, representatives from The Army officer College No1 included Major General Pham Quoc Tuan, Vice Rector, along with leaders of affiliated units. Representing ULIS-VNU were Associate Professor Dr. Ha Le Kim Anh, Vice Rector, together with leaders of departments, staff members, and lecturers of the program. Notably, the ceremony welcomed the presence of 30 newly admitted students.

At the ceremony, Dr. Nguyen Thuy Lan, Head of the Office of Academic and Student Affairs of ULIS-VNU, announced the admission decisions for the students enrolled in the program. The Organizing Committee of the class was also officially introduced.

In her opening remarks, Associate Professor Dr. Ha Le Kim Anh congratulated the 30 students admitted to the Second Degree Part-time English Language Program. She emphasized that in the current context, as the military is becoming increasingly standardized, elite, and modernized, mastering foreign languages has become an essential requirement. English proficiency enables officers and lecturers to access advanced knowledge, science, and technology, thereby enhancing the effectiveness of training, teaching, and research activities.

On behalf of the university, Associate Professor Dr. Ha Le Kim Anh committed that ULIS-VNU would continue to accompany and support students throughout the training process by providing experienced lecturers and necessary academic assistance. She also encouraged the students to define clear learning goals, strive to complete the program successfully, and effectively apply the acquired knowledge to their professional duties

At the ceremony, Major General Pham Quoc Tuan, Vice Rector of The Army officer College No1, delivered a congratulatory speech and expressed his expectation that the students would uphold a strong sense of responsibility, actively engage in learning, and improve their foreign language competence to meet the demands of their missions in the new era.

Representing the students, Captain Nguyen Huu Dong delivered a speech expressing his determination to study seriously and successfully complete the training program.

The opening ceremony took place in a formal and respectful atmosphere, reflecting the close and effective cooperation between ULIS-VNU and The Army officer College No1 in training and developing high-quality human resources to meet the requirements of development and international integration in the current period.
