Seminar “Applying some psychological effects to increase efficiency in reading documents and memorizing”
On September 27th, 2023, ULIS – VNU organized a seminar under the topic “Applying some psychological effects to increase efficiency in reading documents and memorizing” for its staff and students, who are interested and want to improve their ability to read documents and remember. This is an activity in a series of periodic library seminars implemented by the Center for Information Technology, Communications and Learning Materials.
At the seminar, the audience learned more about the brain’s memory “choices” based on impressions of the senses, interest and love, frequency of use, recency and re-pinned/retained content.
Ms. Ta Nhat Anh – the speaker of the seminar – shared two methods that have been applied through a number of psychological effects to help students read documents and remember more effectively: The “recent” effect and “interrupted review” technique.
After that, the students had the opportunity to receive extremely attractive gifts when answering questions and playing games.
