At the briefing, MA. Le Thi Khuyen was appointed to be the head of the Subject of Arabic Language and Culture.

On November 7^th 2018, ULIS – VNU successfully held a briefing of November, 2018, hosted by Mr. Do Tuan Minh – ULIS’s president.

The briefing was attended by Mr. Do Tuan Minh – ULIS’s president, Ms. Ngo Minh Thuy, Mr. Lam Quang Dong – ULIS’s Vice Presidents; Chairman of ULIS’s Trade Union; the Secretary of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of ULIS, Directors of offices; Directors of centers; FLSS’s Principal; Dean of the Faculty of Graduate Studies and Dean of the Faculty of Language Education and Professional Development.

At the beginning of the meeting, President Do Tuan Minh handed over the decision to appoint MA. Le Thi Khuyen to be the head of the Subject of Arabic Language and Culture. The president noted the contributions of Ms. Le Thi Khuyen and the Subject of Arabic Language and Culture, the only Arabic language training unit in Vietnam. Ms. Le Thi Khuyen also thanked the trust and support of the University and promised to continue the effort.

At the meeting, President Do Tuan Minh highly appreciated the efforts of the units in implementing their tasks in October. Meanwhile, he expected the units to continue to fulfill the targets and tasks of this year in the last two months of the year.

Organization of the celebration of the 60th anniversary of the establishment of the Faculty of English; organization of the celebration of the Vietnam Teachers Day; organization of the introducing foreign books contest; organization of the presentation of the friendly office prize for the third time in 2018; completion of the self-study area for students; organization of the Japanese language test for the second time in 2018; Preparation for the admission in 2019, completion of the tasks of the National foreign language Project, etc.

The units will take the responsibility to coordinate and implement the above-mentioned contents.
