Training course for active citizens and social enterprises for students in 2019 organized

 On November 22nd – 24th, 2019, ULIS – VNU and the British Council of Vietnam jointly organized a training course on active citizens and Social Enterprises for its students.

This is a program in the cooperation agreement between ULIS and British Council of Vietnam with the aim of equipping ULIS students with social entrepreneurship knowledge and social creativity skills for students.

The event was attended by Director of the Academic Affairs Office Ha Le Kim Anh, lecturers and staff of the University and coordinators from British Council of Vietnam.

In 3 days, the training program is designed with many modules focusing on the skills of personal discovery development, intercultural dialogue and knowledge and skills related to entrepreneurship such as identifying social issues, building business models, raising capital presentations, etc.

With the support of 8 coordinators, the students experienced a series of activities: Identity and Culture, Multicultural Dialogue, Connection of local and global communities, Implementation of plans to serve society.

The first course attracted 40 participants. The University is expected to open more such course in future.
