ULIS students experience Onigiri rice ball-making
On November 24th, 2020, students of the Faculty of Japanese Language & Culture participated in the Onigiri rice ball-making experience. This is one of the cultural experience activities within the framework of the course’s curriculum to introduce Japanese culture to students of the Faculty of Japanese Language and Culture.
During the program, the students were introduced and instructed to make Japanese-style rice ball by culinary artist Takao Fukada, Manager and chef of Fukada Japanese Restaurant.
Together holding rice and enjoying Onigiri, the students learnt more about a unique culture of Japan, exchanged connections and had meaningful time with teachers and friends.
